As the summer night breeze stirred and neon lights began to glow, the Shunyi Houshayu Marathon’s Plogging Event kicked off on the evening of July 16, where passion for sports met the warmth of volunteerism in Houshayu.
本次活动是“峪马”赛事的精彩延续，更是广大跑友携手同行、践行绿色公益、助力顺义打造“国际化类海外”高品质宜居环境的生动实践，同时以洁净优美的城市风貌，为第34届北京国际燕京啤酒文化节增光添彩。
A vibrant extension of Houshayu Half-Marathon, the plogging event showcased joint effort of runners to advance green initiatives and contribute to Shunyi’s vision of fostering a high-quality, "globalized, overseas-like" livable environment. At the same time, the event added to the charm of the 34th Beijing Yanjing Beer Festival with a cleaner urban landscape.
从后沙峪人民公园的葱茏绿意，到祥云小镇的时尚街区，最终抵达国展二期燕京啤酒文化节主会场，这条4.5公里的捡跑路线恰似一条文明纽带。活动中，大家并肩同行的身影，成为顺义打造“国际化类海外”城市形象最生动的诠释。
The 4.5-km plogging route wove together key landmarks, from the lush greenery of Houshayu People’s Park, through the stylish streets of Shine Hills, to the main venue of Yanjing Beer Festival at Phase II of China International Exhibition Center (CIEC). The sight of participants running side by side reflected Shunyi’s commitment to building a "globalized, overseas-like" city image.
与竞速跑步不同，本次活动更加注重公益服务。参与者们在保持运动节奏的同时，不时弯腰或驻足拾取垃圾，这为跑步增添了一份责任。当大家共同捡起散落的杂物，当汗水与欢笑交织在晚风里，志愿服务已汇聚成温暖人心的力量，转化为直抵人心的城市温度。
Unlike competitive races, this plogging event emphasized community service. While maintaining a steady jogging pace, participants picked up trash or litter along the route, blending responsibility in the run. As sweat and laughter mingled in the evening breeze, volunteerism was transformed into warm power that radiated throughout the city.
暮色渐起，华灯初上。晚上20时许，随着最后一批志愿者抵达终点，本次公益捡跑活动圆满落幕。
The plogging event concluded successfully around 8 p.m., with the final group of volunteer runners crossing the finish line.
下一步，后沙峪镇将围绕顺义区“国际化类海外”建设目标，持续策划推出“峪马”主题系列活动，通过常态化组织群众参与健康运动与公益实践，提升区域人文活力与生活品质，打造宜居宜业的地区环境。
Next, focusing on the Shunyi District's goal of "globalized, overseas-like" development, Houshayu Town plans to roll out "Houshayu Marathon" serial events, aiming to enhance regional cultural vitality and quality of life, as well as to cultivate a livable and business-friendly environment through regularized sports and charity events.
